Iron & Wine on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic

Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) sat down with Nic Harcourt on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic on Nov. 29th, and delivered a fantastic, dreamy set of music. Pulling a couple of songs off of 2007’s critically acclaimed The Shepherd’s Dog and a song each from Endless Numbered Days, Woman King e.p. , and the In Good Company soundtrack, Sam Beam weaves in a signature of humility with his brand of lush, Nick Drake-infused neo-folk.

Iron & Wine – Morning Becomes Eclectic [256kbps mp3]

[I gotta say , the highlight of this set has to be the 7 minute Trapeze Swinger from In Good Company. The quiet tension is incredible. Enjoy – Jameson]
